Recently, I heard it said that, "Conservatives own talk radio but Liberals own the media and the blogs."  I think that observation has merit and I think I know why.  Generally speaking the conservatives I know, including myself, are not "joiners", we're "acheivers".  We're occupied tending to our business.  We're interested in politics and we take voting seriously, but we aren't active in a political party and we have been content to leave politics to the politicians and pursue our personal and professional goals.  In the meantime, the "other side" has been busy organizing into groups at odds with our values and interests.  The other side is winning because we aren't playing.  It's time to get in the game.
